Does installation require permanent modification to my vehicle?
Article
Yes. Installing the CorkSport FMIC Kit for SRI will require some permanent modification to your vehicle. These changes are minor and do not affect the safety of the car in any way.
During the install process you will need to trim several places for intercooler pipe clearance:
The airbag sensor bracket:
The plastic braces in front of the radiator:

These modifications will not impact the crash safety of your vehicle in any way. You will not be cutting/modifying bumper supports or crash bars like some FMIC kits. We have carefully designed this kit with maximum performance and safety in mind.
